Gendhis Legi

The outdoor of Gendhis Legi

A Javanese style home restaurant @Kota Wisata Cibubur cought our attention while we were looking for someplace for lunch. We stopped, feeling unsure but seeing crowd inside, lightened up our hope, maybe it was good after all. Almost all of the wooden tables were occupied, we noticed when we walked into the indoor area. Lightly decorated in Javanese style, with contrast colors of dark-brown and light yellow. It has several Batik paintings cover the wall and oldies lamps hanging from the ceiling, with traditional music (gending) on air.
The menu

They boost Javanese menu, with specialization on fish soup in bamboo (turned out to be good, clear soup with sour and hints of sweet). However, the other menu, like sego bakar (grilled-wrapped yellow rice with various condiments and side dishes), sayur asam and deep-fry gurame fish tasted just so-so, nothing special at all.

Well, at least they didn't charge much and we had our lunch. But you gotta bring cash since they surcharge 3% of credit-card payment and apparently their BCA debit edc machine is not working.
