The Billionaire's Marriage Mission by Helen Brooks

The Billionaire’s Marriage Mission by Helen Brooks

Oh I loved this ebook (well, look at the title). It already gave out the hint of ‘modern Cinderella’ story with happily ever after ending LOL. And guess what, billionaires always get what they want (yes, world is unfair...or so I heard). Billionaire is fancy…but billionaire who wanted a good happy marriage life…well I would have put myself in (if it wasn’t a fiction LOL). But this billionaire at least had to work hard to get what he wanted   J

Travis Black, the owner of Black enterprise, obviously a billionaire, with fancy cars (notice the plural word here *grinning*) and fancy weekend mansion at suburban where he normally spent his weekend with his dogs (geez…every single thing he had were in plural LOL). Handsome with a slight scar left when he had an accident in his youth (in fact, the scar was his charm wakaka), plus built body donned in fancy clothes, it was certain that he was the attention center and a head-turner.

And meet the woman, an ordinary working woman, Beth was also a divorcee. She had a terrible past which his former husband apparently a polygamous, since he had several wives scattered around UK, some with kids as well (phew…whatta husband). Heart-broken, over-worked and depressed, Beth took 6months leave from the company and had a solitary life, renting a cottage in the same suburban of Travis’s weekend mansion. Just with her dog, Harvey who was given to her right after her divorce, Beth was being locked up outside her cottage in the middle of their very first night there.

As expected, Travis was the person who helped Beth thru the mishap. First meeting continued to several ‘platonic?’ meetings. However due to her past, Beth was afraid to learn to trust a man, especially a man like Travis who could have any woman he desired. Travis, was aware of her past, tried to take thing slowly. He had a plan how to slowly woe her, but he was too slow...suddenly Beth slipped out his hand. Before they could be together, they should overcome the walls of misunderstanding, fear, and rejection.
