Love the playful colors |
Talking about holiday, last weekend I just went to Bandung with some friends…yes…no oppa and the girls tagging along ha ha ha and we spent the night at a very unique hotel called Chara Hotel. Since I haven't been to backpacking, so this time, we'd decided to try a bed-n-breakfast but the 2 inns on our shortlist were fully booked due to last minutes booking hiks (T_T) and we finally settled for Chara since it was quite affordable

The corridor |
Inside, the parking space was limited with much smaller lobby which I already expected (hey – it was a budget hotel). However, though it was small, the layout of the lobby was designed and dressed nicely. From the corridor, it looked like lot containers being stacked altogether up and down, and side by side. Minimalist with industrial design, the hotel plays with steel plates and wooden crates with splash of colors in the common room which gives a breather from the industrial look.

The containers style of rooms |
Though it looked tough on the outside, the room was cozy with more natural color and minimalist design. The room size was standard with basic very amenities. No hair drier, SDB box, fridge, and coffee/tea maker in the room. However, despite the lack of those comforts, the room was nicely prepared with cute headboard on the bed. Me – myself, would likely find me coming back here – of course this time with the girls ^^
