Beji Ubud Bali

Lobby
During our last holiday to Bali, we tried to spend a night in Ubud area. Well known for its greenery (very close location to Monkey forest), Ubud had its own distinctive charms compared to other tourist attraction which offers beaches and waves. Ubud area is famous for Balinese' art and craft, from wooden to silvery, from stones to other small insignificant knickknack. Beside, Ubud hosts several highly recommended restos and cafes as well, not to mention there are lots of chances to see Balinese' culture...in the people' daily life...as well as the traditional show and performances. We visited Ubud several times, but we never had spent a night. So, this time, we chose Beji Ubud Bali and we loved what presented for us during our stay there.
Our 2 story cottage

The twin beds on the first floor
Since I got amazing deal (yes...i booked the room from my own web he he he), I chose a bungalow with 1 king-sized bed on the upper loft and twin beds below. It was a pretty nice bungalow in shape of sorta barn, complete with its coconut leaves roof. Coconut leaves are also being used on the walls of the upper room but for the ground floor room, they use solid bricks. Heavy vegetation outside the bungalow (the setting is tropical garden) provided covers from the bright sun during the daylight, but at night, the scenery could be a bit dark and scary. There was mini pantry at the back of the building, with bath tub and spacious bathroom on the ground floor and another toilet on the upper loft. From the upper balcony, we could see the greenery around the resort complex

Pool overlooking the forestry hill
Another plus points of this resort is the pools. There are 5 different pools to choose, from the shallow one for dipping your feet to the deep pool with stunning overlooking hill view...wow. It felt like taking a dip in the forest...truly a new experience for all of us but the water was quite cold  :-) Though the resort lack in facilities and amenities, but we wholeheartedly enjoy our brief stay there. We definitely would love to come back here...another time   :-)
